mobile Internet and high speed connections
The Nokia 6310 takes wireless connectivity to a whole
new level. With GPRS (General Packet Radio Services) you can
stay connected to mobile Internet services and only pay for
information sent or received, rather than for connection time.
And with HSCSD (High-Speed Circuit Switched Data) you can
transmit data at speeds of up to 43.2 kbps which means that
data transmissions such as emails, faxes or downloading files
just became easier and faster.

WAP
The Nokia 6310 integrates the latest WAP features with
support for WAP release 1.2.1. It can receive "Push service
message indicators" which give convenient access to WAP sites
via links contained in feeds from push-based mobile services
such as stock alerts and newscasts. WAP 1.2.1 also provides
support for cookies (just like your web browser), and downloadable
contact and calendar item - so you can easily save business
cards and calendar appointments from WAP sites directly into
the phone's memory. The Nokia 6310 also allows you to use
Direct calling feature (WTAI Public library) - make a phone
call from a WAP site - so it is no longer necessary to terminate
a WAP session when you need to make an important call. With
your Nokia 6310 you can also save the addresses of up to 25
of your favourite or most frequently used WAP pages (such
as sport results, weather, stocks).
Bluetooth

The Nokia 6310 lets you connect around the corner with
its integrated Bluetooth. Supporting both data and audio connections,
Bluetooth lets you to connect wirelessly to a compatible PC
or any other Bluetooth-enabled device up to ten meters away.
And you don't need a direct line of sight to make the connection
with your PC - just leave it in your bag while you surf the
Internet or check your email using the phone as a GSM modem!
The phone also supports wireless audio based on Bluetooth,
allowing users to enjoy the freedom of being truly wireless
with audio accessories, like headsets and car kits. So now
you can really cut the wires that tie you down! Along with
the Nokia 6310, Nokia is introducing its new Bluetooth accessories.
